Skills & Job Requirements:

Skill1 - Data Centric testing (L4)

·         Should be able to review complex SQLs

·         Should be able to identify performance bottlenecks in SQLs

·         Should be able to write PL/SQL programs

·         Ability to identify and propose areas of automation

·         Ability to perform effort estimation for Data centric testing

Skill2 - Application Testing (L3)

·         Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.

·         Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and Orthogonal Array Tool.

·         Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.

·         Provide best usage of Altiris components.  Develop, test and maintain standard software images, software deployment and patch packages.

Primary Skills:

·         Must have good administrative experience on Altiris 6.5 and 7.1

·         Maintain and patch the Altiris environment

·         Establish, document and communicate methods/processes for testing, loading and configuring software.

·         Responsible for the overall use and operation of the Altiris environment.

·         Collaborates with team, vendors, and consultants to determine strategy and plan for system implementations and upgrades.

·         Customizing Altiris reports with direct SQL queries.

·         Troubleshoot all aspects of Altiris effectively and understand the product patch management, software distribution and logging in detail.

·         Work closely with the various business units to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software packages.
