Work Description:

·         Responsible as the Subject Matter Expert for production environment and application(s). 

·         Can trouble shoot issues independently, can work with project team directly without guidance from others. 

·         Available for on call escalations and advanced break fix problems and problem management.  Facilitates and coordinates release management process and adherence to it. 

·         Participates in major problem reviews, initiates requests for change and ensures compliance with operational and security policies

·         Capable of leading incident management team in trouble shooting issues and can identify potential problems in applications and advocate for solutions. 

·         Mentors and develops other Service Engineers.

Job Description:

·         Oversee the SharePoint Portal Server infrastructure, user access and application deployment – taking the lead role in implementing SharePoint across DTAG.

·         Support the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all web portal servers for DST team, equipment, and software related to SharePoint infrastructure

·         Experience in developing Windows SharePoint Services, .NET Framework, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio 2008/2010, C#, ASP.Net, VB.NET, XML, HTML,

·         A solid understanding of business workflows and capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/2010, Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 and 3.0, SharePoint Designer 2007/2010, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, and Microsoft Office suite of products (InfoPath forms, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word Documents)

·         Knowledge of architectural design, hands on SharePoint/Web development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on deploying and supporting corporate SharePoint solutions Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security as it applies to SharePoint Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives (Upgraded Versions, Third-Party Solutions, Integration with additional Enterprise Systems). Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections.

·         Perform typical system administrative activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restore and issue resolution.

·         Development experience in InfoPath forms and workflow integration, including communicating the location of form libraries, their purpose and workflows.

·         Coordinate with DTG Divisions in standardizing and optimizing the way data/information is stores and retrieved.

Job Description/Skills Required:

Ø  overall 5+ yrs. experience with min 2+ years in SharePoint 2007/2010

Ø  Hands on experience on SharePoint 2010 development on both configuration and customer development. Should be proficient on web part, custom events, object model and SharePoint features development and be experienced to leverage SharePoint 2010 Out Of box functionalities. Should possess good understanding on .NET 3.5 and above. With good communication skills.

Ø  Proficient in VS 2008 / 2010 custom development for SharePoint

Ø  Experience on SharePoint integration to SAP through 3rd Party tools such as iQL Studio / DUET is an advantage

Ø  Experience in Deployment using WSP

Ø  Knowledge on Telerik RAD Editor tools is desirable – Optional

Ø  Exposure to KWIZ WikiPlus and its integration with SharePoint – Optional

Ø  Basic knowledge on MOSS to SP 2010 upgrade
