The
Altiris Administrator is responsible for managing and providing the overall
vision of the Altiris infrastructure.
·
Provide
best usage of Altiris components. Develop, test and maintain standard
software images, software deployment and patch packages.
Primary Skills:
·
Must have good administrative experience on Altiris
6.5 and 7.1
·
Maintain and patch the Altiris environment
·
Establish, document and communicate methods/processes
for testing, loading and configuring software.
·
Responsible for the overall use and operation of the
Altiris environment.
·
Collaborates with team, vendors, and consultants to
determine strategy and plan for system implementations and upgrades.
·
Customizing Altiris reports with direct SQL queries.
·
Troubleshoot all aspects of Altiris effectively and
understand the product patch management, software distribution and logging in
detail.
·
Work closely with the various business units to
develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software packages.
