Deal with Hardware vendors like IBM/HP. Following up
with Vendors hardware & software whenever required.
·
Designing, installing, implementing and
troubleshooting VMware ESX/ESXi server.
·
Monitoring and Performance analysis on ESX Servers and
VMs
·
Knowledge on ESX servers from command line
·
Setting up of V-motion, HR, DRS and related VMware
products.
·
Patching of ESX severs and VMs with VMware Update
manager, allocation of storage spaces to VMs through SAN.
·
Ability to work with VSPHERE / VMware Consolidated
Backup / Virtual machine backups
·
Resource Sizing, resource management and Volume
Extension.
·
Knowledge on VMware update Manager, how to install.
·
Configuration and admin of windows cluster.
·
Physical machine to virtual machine conversions.
·
Proficient in Microsoft OS
·
In-Depth knowledge of Active Directory and DNS
structure
·
Knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 Server and trouble
shooting skills;
·
Knowledge on RAID management and Array controller.
·
Knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters,
Windows Load Balancing.
