Required Candidate Profile:

·         Installation and configuration of IBM X-Series/Dell Servers/HP/SUN servers along with firmware / driver installation and upgrade.

·         Installation and Configuration of Server with Windows Operating System (Windows 2003 and 2008) including configuration of System tools IBM Server Manager, Dell open manager or Insight Manager etc

·         Installation and Configuration of File and Print Service

·         Creating and managing User Login/Logoff Scripts, Modify user and computer account properties. Creation/Deletion of Shares and Share/NTFS Permission Management
Updating Printer drivers, Print Queue Management and Troubleshooting on Network printing problems.

·         Generating performance reports and fixing any performance issues

·         Disk administration basics including RAID basics, Adding Disks, Creating/Deleting partitions

·         Disk Administrator: Compact Partitions & Shares, User Disk Quotas

·         Resolving File Sharing problems

·         Installing and configuring Software Update Service/MBSA, Patch management using patchlink and MBSA

·         Automating installation of Windows using scripts and Image files

·         VMware GSX / ESX versions installations and configurations

·         Citrix Installations and configurations ( ex. Metaframe 3.0 / Presentation Server 4.0)

·         Knowledge on Citrix Client

·         Web Server Configuration (IIS, Apache)

·         Working experience on H/W installations and configurations for drivers, firmware versions.

Technical Skills Required: IBM/Dell/ HP/Compaq Servers, RAID Controllers, Tape Libraries, Exposure in storage products like HP/Compaq/EMC

Certifications: MCSE /MCSA (must), UNIX & Tools certifications (added advantage).
