Job Description
Expertise:
Ø Should have experience and understanding of data migration / cutover processes and strategies
Ø Should have an overall knowledge of processes across different modules, especially regarding master data objects and transactional data objects
Ø Able to create, execute and troubleshoot LSMW programs
Ø Define templates for data migration for various objects identified for data migration
Ø Should have understanding of impact of parameters in master data in various process across modules
Ø Should have experience in reconciling data provided vs data migrated (Master and Transactions – Financials / Inventory)
Ø Communication is a key aspect
Ø Experience of cutover would be very good.
Responsibility:
Ø Define migration processes as required
Ø Coordinate between various process teams to ensure all requirements are collected
Ø Coordinate with customer and data migration team onsite and offshore
Ø Manage communication of status and escalate issues / risks to PMO on time
Ø Deal with users (Non-SAP) and ensure they are up to speed with how to provide data, validate migrated etc.
