Position: Requirements Analyst / Software Systems Engineer with Medical Devices experience

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:

Role: Requirements Analyst / Software Systems Engineer with Medical Devices experience.

We are seeking an experienced professional in the business analysis area related to software development to perform functional analysis, use case development, and requirements development. These activities will be executed as part of developing new healthcare integration products and supporting existing healthcare integration products.

These analysis, use case, and requirement outputs will be accomplished by:

· eliciting, validating, and translating business objectives

· engaging software architects

· evaluating prototypes

· ensuring documentation compliance against applicable internal and external standards

This position will be responsible for producing these outputs as design input for Software Designers, Developers, Testers, and Quality Assurance staff.

Skills:

MEDICAL DEVICES DOMAIN EXPERIENCE

· Experience achieving and maintaining a solid understanding of a business environment as a whole, including business practices, processes and strategy.

· Experience performing individual aspects of the requirements specification function, including requirements prioritization and functional and non-functional specification development.

· Experience with Rational DOORS or similar tools to develop requirements, use cases, or test cases.

· Experience in software development with at least one Object Oriented language where development tasks have included user workflow development.

· Required are excellent oral, written, and listening skills to effectively communication on business and technical topics and capture in documentation business and technical decisions.

· Required are five years or more of professional experience in the above listed competencies.

· Required is a Bachelor’s Degree in one of Information Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
