Position: Web logic Portal (9/10.x) Administrator

Location – Richmond, VA

Duration – 6 Months+

Skills & Job Requirements

Web logic Portal (9/10.x) Administrator

·         Hands on Exp with Web logic Portal Administration

·         New Test Environment Setup for Portal application

·         Understanding of the portal application functioning

·         Fine- tuning of portal system resources

·         User administration

·         Security administration

·         Application deployments to test, sandbox, staging, and production environments

·         Knowledge of Basic Unix administration

·         Should be well versed with complex portal, webserver and application server environment.

·         Expert in installation & Configuration of portal environment as per application requirement.

·         Collaboration with application and other teams.

·         Assisting application in load testing

·         Excellent in trouble shooting the problems related with Portal -server configuration issues and performance issues

·         Should be familiar with the deployment and issues related to deployments

·         Environment auditing

·         Validate environment after patch installation.

Key skills required:

·         Weblogic Portal server(9/10.x)

·         Knowledge in generic Application components includes Logging, Exception Handling, XML Parsers, Email, Auditing etc.

·         Knowledge in Layered Application architecture comprising of Presentation, BMP/SOA, Business and Data layer
