Windows admin with VMware
Location:
Santa Clara
Duration:

Skills
& Job Requirements:

The
VMware experience is the highest priority.
·
This
position reports to the SV Manager.
·
Direction
and guidance to be provided by senior engineers on the team.
·
Responsibilities
include the following: Manage the physical and virtual lab infrastructure;
maintain inventory; interface to facilities to maintain A/C, power and space;
interface to IT and central labs to meet audits and other internal requests;
assist with purchasing; and direct support of R&D requests.
Requirements for
position functions Skills, experience, other.
·
Strong experience with VMware [preferably 5.0/5.1];
Hitachi SANs, Xsigo
·
Expertise with Linux & Windows administration and
general network management
·
Certification or training – Microsoft; email, SMS
·
Experience with SIP, Telephony [AV, Nortel]
·
Ability to support and debug physical hardware
issues
