Position: DB2 ADMINISTRATOR-L3

Location – Milwaukee, WI

Duration – 6 Months+

Job Description:

Ø  Involve in DB2 objects design like Space allocation, Partition limitations etc.

Ø  Issue DB2 commands like TERMINATE, START and STOP.

Ø  Analyzing and fix of DB2 application program failures.

Ø  Analyzing and fix of DB2 Utility failures.

Ø  Bind Plans and Packages which are used from remote locations.

Ø  Execution of DB2 offline and online Utilities.

Ø  Executions of Data recovery utilities like RECOVER, REBUILT etc.

Ø  Handling Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.

Ø  Knowledge on DSNZPARMS.

Ø  Define Triggers and develop User defined function.

Ø  Granting Access to DB2 objects in Production environment.

Ø  Knowledge on DB2 data sharing and Sys plex environment.

Ø  Review DB2 application programs.

Ø  Performance monitoring and Tuning.

Ø  Implement REFERENTIAL CONSTRAINTS on new or existing tables with the appropriate DELETE rules.

Ø  Implementation of identity columns and sequence objects.

Candidate should have:

Ø  4-6 years of experience in Application Development or Maintenance or prod support areas.

Ø  Experience/awareness of following technologies is required:

Ø  DB2 ADMINISTRATION, JCL SCRIPTING

Ø  TSO, ISPF

Ø  Version Control tools like Changeman/Endevor

Ø  DB2 & JCL UTILITIES

Ø  PERFROMANCE TUNING

Position: Windows Administrator-L1

Location – Santa Clara, CA

Duration – 6 Months+

Job Description/Skills Required:

Customer requirement:

Ø  Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows 2003, 2008 servers, operating system, storage and backup equipment.

Ø  Monitoring servers using Microsoft Operations Manager for high availability and addressing alert events

Ø  Maintaining hardware health, troubleshooting and vendor coordination when required

Ø  Install, configure and support of Microsoft Cluster server, network load balancing server

Ø  Provide Net Backup support as required to ensure that all server and storage are backed up per standards. Backup restoration support

Ø  Develop and maintain documentation on server, storage and backup environment

Ø  Install and maintain patches and antivirus software as required to meet standards

Ø  Interface with various vendors and support groups on standards, Best Known Methods and the resolution of problematic issues.  

Ø  Assist in the resolution APPS LAB application issues  

Ø  Support server projects as directed in support of the local campus environment

Customer requirement:

Ø  Must have 4+ years of experience in Microsoft 20003, 2008 enterprise environment server support

Ø  Must have hands-on experience in HP Server hardware installation and troubleshooting

Ø  Experience in windows cluster and network load balancing

Ø  Experience in using Net Backup Client for initiating manual backup and restoration on request

Ø  VB/WMI scripting knowledge is mandatory requirement for this position

Ø  Ability to coordinate with different support teams and vendors

Ø  Excellent verbal and communication skills with high customer orientation

Ø  Excellent problem solving skills for technical and software related issues

Ø  Ability to work independently while strictly following technical specifications
