Position: Automation Test Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)
Experience: 3-5 YEARS

Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:
Automation Test Analyst using QTP automation tool
Good exposure in using of QTP integrated environment
Created and worked on various framework of automation like Hybrid
Keyword driven and modularity driven framework etc.
Experience in Test Automation, scripts preparation and execution within the framework
Extensive use of defect tracking tools including HP Quality Centre and TFS
Experience in working with analysts, developers and testers for complex projects during the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

QTP
Demonstrates knowledge of automation, recording script and playback. Able tocapture feature of the QTP to record the multiple user actions.
Able to use Obect Repositiry(OR).
Should be able to enhance the recorded script with verification points.
Should playback the scripts and observe the results in the log of the test management tool.

Test Automation
Should be capable to understand the underlying technology on the various automation tools.
Should be capable to evaluate the best tool to the client.
Should be capable to create the required automation framework to the client.
proficiency in developing software and scripts for computer assisted testing to increase accuracy, speed and efficiency in application and system testing of any mobile phone software

Web Testing
Should have a test to break attitude and should be able to design positive & negative test scenarios based on the validation on controls, cookies etc.

Application Testing
Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.
Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.
Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.


Additional Skills
Quality Centre
Able to use Quality Centre at an user level. Understanding of all the navigations and features in QC.
Ability to use QC as a Test management tool.

·         PC Skills

Skills & Job Requirements:

·         3 or more years of systems testing experience

·         Very strong skills to extract data utilizing SQL (Oracle and DB2)

·         Proven working knowledge of all 27x 5010 transactions

·         Minimum of 2 years working knowledge within the healthcare insurance industry required

·         Knowledge of workflows, and business and technical requirements

·         Experience with user acceptance testing, functional and regression testing techniques

·         Ability to work closely with development and business partners

·         Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

·         Strong working knowledge of HP Quality Center (ALM)

·         Experience with use cases and use case realizations to develop test plans and scripts

·         Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle processes and procedures

·         Knowledge of defect management processes

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to quickly learn new applications and work on multiple projects concurrently

·         PC Skills

·         Technical Knowledge preferred: QTP, IBM Data Studio; SOAP WMB; TOAD; triggers/stored procedures; logical/physical data model and entity relationships; Ultra Edit; XML

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
