Job Description/Skills Required:
Expert Knowledge / Experience in Cognos 8/10 Tools:
Ø Framework Manager
Ø Report Studio
Ø Business Insight (Query and Analysis Studios)
Ø Metrics Studio
Ø Solid experience in designing and development of Framework Manager and Cognos studios
Ø Report performance tuning and data management.
Ø Strong Data warehousing concepts and best practices as it pertains to getting Cognos to properly perform with the data warehouse data.
Ø Need experience training Business Users on use of Cognos.
Ø Looking for a Sr. Developer that is experienced with Cognos 8 and 10.
Ø This person will be involved in the migration from a Hyperion/Brio query and reporting environment to a Cognos 10 environment.
Ø This developer will be involved in all aspects of the implementation and migration to the Cognos 10 environment.
Ø This developer needs to have experience in Framework Manager and design of the semantic layer. This person will also need to have experience building dashboards and reports based on the data and reporting needs of the business customers to be able to consult with the business as they build their reports and dashboards in a self-service model.
Ø Will act as consultant and lead but also willing to do the development aspect.
