Location – North Carolina

Duration – 6 Months+

Job Description/Skills Required:

Profile:

Ø  Extensive knowledge on all major database technologies including Oracle, SQL Server

Ø  Database architect responsible for DB build design, upgrade factory framework deign, DB level HA design for high business critical systems Backup and DR solution for small DB environments

Ø  Responsible for Managing design and architecture for small to medium Database infrastructure projects

Ø  Good understanding of consolidation/virtualization techniques Works as guide and sets direction for medium sized projects of reasonable complexity

Key skills required :( in the order of priority)

Ø  Internal parameter configurations Backup/recovery configurations HA Configuration (Instance Load-balancing, cluster maintenance)

Ø  Monitoring Tool Configuration Database upgrades-major Replication Setup

Ø  Database reorganization planning

Ø  Database Security Planning and Configuration Data migration across environment

Ø  Physical database design Load balancing design DR Design RAC / Cluster Planning,

Ø  Setup and Configuration Grid Control Metric Design and Configuration Define Performance Benchmarks and Metrics
