Job Description/Skills Required:

Skills:

Ø  Expertise on EMC DMX and CX series, Celerra NAS

Ø  Rich operational experience in various flavors of UNIX & different versions of Windows

Ø  Expertise in Configuring domains, SANs & zones

Ø  Expertise in reconfiguring SAN switch as per design document.

Ø  License management

Ø  H/W troubleshooting & Vendor coordination

Ø  Incident management

Ø  Change management

Ø  Configuration management

Ø  Log monitoring/maintenance

Ø  Storage & SAN hardening

Ø  Remote Administration

Ø  Deployment of application software/tools

Ø  Knowledge of Disk drive types(SATA, FC)

Ø  To check for HOST being added in the SAN meets SAN compatibility matrix criteria

Ø  Have hands on experience in upgrading Storage & SAN Switch Firmware

Ø  Rich experience in performance issues w.r.to SAN Switch & EMC Storage

Ø  Generate performance reports & analyze

Ø  To prepare & maintain LMR(LUN Map Report)

Ø  To prepare & maintain SAN diagram Prepare PIR/RCA & discuss the same with customer.

SAN Switches –

Ø  Experienced in Production SAN Environment.

Ø  Configure, Modify & troubleshoot Domain, SAN & Zones

Ø  Upgrade SAN switch firmware

Ø  To generate & maintain SAN diagram
