We have an urgent opening for Test Analyst Mainframe and SAS

Location – Monterey-CA

Duration – 6 Months

Job Description

Ø  A minimum of 3 years of working knowledge on Mainframe IBM MVS z/OS,TSO/ISPF, Librarian, Sys view, JCL, Comparex and SAS - SCRIPTS  and Windows-based operating systems and tools. For example, Windows XP and Microsoft

Ø  Office tools (Outlook, Word and Project).

Ø  3 years of experience in the extensive use of SAS as a reporting and diagnostic tool.

Ø  Working knowledge of defect tracking tools such as mercury Quality Center

Ø  Demonstrated analytical ability in review of test results versus test plans and case matrices.

Ø  Aptitude for attention to detail in the planning, organization and conduct of testing activities.

Ø  Proven active participation in implementation of standardized testing techniques and maintenance of test documentation.

Ø  Ability to communicate effectively and considerately with both technical and non-technical staff.

Ø  Experience in working under very tight timelines on multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

Ø  Bachelor degree in software development-related field.

Ø  A minimum of two years experience in test plan/case preparation, software testing and defect    analysis and resolution

Ø  Experience in software quality assurance procedures, methods and root cause analysis.

Note: candidates need to have at least 3 years of experience in Mainframe technologies (MVS z/OS, TSO/ISPF, Librarian, Sys view, JCL & Comparex) and SAS.
